Patthar Ke Insan is an action thriller drama. The movie revolves around two talented sisters - Lata (Sridevi), a dancer, and Seeta (Poonam Dhillon), a singer. Lata and Seeta enter in a talent show, and Lata wins the show. Seeta is unable to bear her defeat and leaves in her car, followed by Lata in another car. Seeta knocks a woman on the road, but continues to drive and finally kills herself by leaping from the cliff. Lata is devastated with her sister’s death, and loses her mental balance. She then gets the support of Arjun (Vinod Khanna), one of the employees in her grandfather’s firm, and soon the two get married. However, she is unaware that things aren’t as simple as they seem, because Arjun has a motive of his own to fulfill.
