Tevar is an action romance drama and the official remake of the 2003 Telugu film Okkadu. The movie revolves around Ghanshyam ‘Pinto’ Shukla (Arjun Kapoor), a young Kabaddi player from Agra. Pinto travels to Mathura to take part in practice and accidentally meets Radhika Mishra (Sonakshi Sinha) who is on the run from the goons of Gajendra Singh (Manoj Bajpayee), a powerful faction leader, who wants to marry her against her wishes and has killed her brother. Pinto helps Radhika escape and the two run away. Eventually, the two fall in love with each other.
