Sansar is a family drama based on the disordered situation in the family of a postmaster. Din Dayal Sharma (Anupam Kher), a postmaster, lives with his wife and children in the same house. His daughter-in-law, Uma (Rekha) goes to her parents’ house owing to her pregnancy. However, when she returns, she finds out that everything has changed and her husband, Vijay (Raj Babbar) has separated from his family as he believes that he contributes most money in the family share. Things get complicated in the married life of Vijay’s siblings - Rajni (Archana Joglekar) and Shiva (Ajinkya Deo). When Uma returns with her baby, she realises about the adverse situation in her family, and decides to make everything right for everyone. Will she succeed in bringing peace in the family?
