Daughter of veteran film producer Rana Pratap Singh, Vidya Sinha was an Indian actress who made her acting debut in Bollywood with the 1974 film Raja Kaka alongside Kiran Kumar. It was followed by her other movies like Rajnigandha (1974), Karm (1977), Mukti (1977), Inkaar (1977), Pati Patni Aur Woh (1978), Meera (1979), Swayamvar (1980), and Saboot (1980). In 1968, she married her neighbor Venkateshwaran Iyer and the couple adopted a daughter. The marriage ended with Venkateshwaran’s death and later she married Australian doctor, Netaji Bhimrao Salunke in 2001 but divorced him in 2009. Vidya Sinha breathed her last on 15 August 2019.
