Tere Naam is a romantic musical drama. The movie revolves around Radhe Mohan (Salman Khan), a rowdy boy, who is always surrounded by his gang of friends. He is a violent man, who stands against the wrong and performs good deeds. He falls in love with a first-year college student Nirjara Bhardwaj (Bhumika Chawla), the daughter of a poor temple priest. Initially reluctant, Nirjara too reciprocates his feelings and starts growing fond of him. However, things take a turn when a brothel owner and his goons attack Radhe, whose actions make them shut down their business. The attack was so brutal that it made Radhe suffer brain damage and lose his sanity. His family admitted him to a mental hospital. Nirjara continues to love him and waits for him. Will Radhe ever get normal and return to Nirjara?
