Baghban is a family romantic drama that revolves around an elderly couple – Raj (Amitabh Bachchan) and Pooja Malhotra (Hema Malini), who have been married for 40 years and have four sons of their own and one adopted son, Alok (Salman Khan). Raj and Pooja sacrificed everything for their four sons, but at the time of Raj’s retirement, when he and Pooja decided to move with their children, none of their four sons wanted to solely take the responsibility of their parents. The sons come with an arrangement where each parent live with one son for six month and then moves with another. They are treated with disrespect and hatred at their son’s place. After six months, while changing trains, the two meet and spend some time together, and encounter Alok, who brings them home and takes care of them. It is like Alok returned to theirlives just in time to reunite them. However, the question remains, will their real sons ever realise the folly of their acts?
