Raju Srivastava is a stand-up comedian, actor and politician who started his career by performing on stage shows before making his debut in Sooraj Barjatya’s Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989 in a cameo. He thereafter went on to play supporting roles in various movies such as Baazigar, Mr. Azaad, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, Waah! Tera Kya Kehna and Bombay to Goa. As a stand-up comedian he further gained recognition in the TV talent show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ where he finished as second runner-up and subsequently won the title of ‘The King of Comedy’. He also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss season 3. In 2014, he joined the Bhartiya Janta Party and was a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.,
