Kaal is a supernatural thriller drama that is set in Corbett National Park in India, where two British nationals were killed by a ferocious tiger and the attack was followed by several other tiger attacks, resulting in deaths. The ‘National Geographic’, a monthly American wildlife magazine, sends their correspondent Krish Thapar (John Abraham) to further investigate it. Krish is accompanied by his wife Riya (Esha Deol) on the trip to Corbett National Park. The two meet a group of youngsters, including Dev (Vivek Oberoi) and Ishika (Lara Dutta), who are there on a hunting trip. The group is confronted by three tigers, however, Kaali (Ajay Devgan), a resident of the village saves them. Things take a turn when they realize the presence of a supernatural entity in the forest and decide to fight it and save themselves. Will they survive or become the next victims of the evil spirit?
