Dulha Mil Gaya is a romantic comedy-drama that follows the story of Donsai (Fardeen Khan), who is the heir of Dhanraj Empire. However, to inherit the wealth of five-billion rupees Donsai must marry his father’s Punjabi daughter, Samarpreet (Ishita Sharma). Donsai is against the marriage, but he marries Samarpreet and later abandons her. Thereafter, Samarpreet encounters Shimmer (Sushmita Sen), who helps her to reunite with her husband.
