Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a musical romantic drama. The movie revolves around Surinder “Suri'' Sahni (Shah Rukh Khan), a shy and introverted man who works in Punjab state electricity board. He falls in love at first sight with Taani (Anushka Sharma), the daughter of his former Professor Gupta. Taani’s fiancé is killed in a road accident and shocked Professor Gupta suffers a massive heart attack. On his deathbed, he asks Suri to marry Taani, and the two get married. Taani respects her place in Suri’s life but believes that she could never fall in love again. Suri learns that Taani likes strong and muscular men, and in order to impress her he undergoes a complete makeover and becomes ‘Raj Kapoor' to make Taani fall in love with him.
