Vir Das is an Indian comedian, actor and musician, who started his career as a stand-up comedian and later, shifted his break in Bollywood, to get a breakthrough in his acting career. The actor made his Bollywood debut with a small role in the 2007 film Namastey London, but gained popularity with his role in Abhinay Deo’s 2011 film Delhi Belly, co-starring Imran Khan and Kunaal Roy Kapur. He was also nominated in Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Delhi Belly. Other important roles of his career include Go Goa Gone (2013), Sooper Se Ooper (2013), Shaadi Ke Side Effects (2014), Revolver Rani (2014), Mastizaade (2016), Sabaash Naidu (2022) and many more. In October 2014, he married his girlfriend Shivani Mathur.
