Vishwa Mehra was an actor and production manager who was fondly addressed as Mamaji in the film industry. He was the brother-in-law of actor Prithviraj Kapoor and the maternal uncle of actors Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor. He had come to Mumbai from Peshawar to attend Raj Kapoor’s wedding in 1946 and never went back. Heworked as a manager of the famous RK Studios since its inception and had the opportunity to act in supporting roles in films like Aag, Barsaat, Anari, Teesri Kasam, Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Dharam Karam, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Prem Rog, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, and Prem Granth, etc. He passed away due to age-related health issues in Mumbai on 5 October 2022 at the age of 96.
