7 ½ Phere: More Than a Wedding is a black comedy-drama. The movie revolves around Asmi Ganatra (Juhi Chawla), a TV director, who wants to shoot a reality show covering an Indian wedding. She finds a perfect family in Mumbai for the show – the Joshi family. Asmi realizes that Manoj Joshi (Irrfan Khan), the bride's uncle, has fallen for her and with his help, she sets the secret cameras in the house. Things take a turn when hidden cameras invade the privacy of the family and capture the secrets of the family, which leads to hilarious situations.
