Aaina is a musical romantic drama. The movie revolves around two sisters – Roma (Amrita Singh) and Reema (Juhi Chawla), the daughters of a wealthy businessman. Roma, the elder sister, is competitive and spoiled, while Reema is reserved and lets her sister take the spotlight. The two grow up into beautiful girls with opposite personalities. The two fall in love with Ravi Saxena (Jackie Shroff), who falls for Roma, who is always the centre of attention. This breaks Reema’s heart, but she is happy for her sister. Ravi and Roma are all set to get married, but on their wedding day, Roma, who always dreamt of being an actress, runs away to follow her dreams. Ravi, to save the family’s pride, marries Reema. Sometime later, Roma returns and is willing to do anything to get Ravi back. It remains to see, whom does Ravi choose finally?
