Aakhree Raasta is an action revenge drama. The movie follows the story of a man named David (Amitabh Bachchan), who lives a happy life with his wife Mary (Jaya Prada). They become parents to a boy, and name him James. He respects Chaturvedi (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) a lot, who is a member of parliament, but things change when he learns that he molested his wife, who then commits suicide. Later, when he confronts Chaturvedi, he gets him arrested for the murder of his wife. He spends around 24 years in the prison, while his friend Mahesh (Anupam Kher) raises James. Once out of jail, David seeks out exact revenge from David; however, he finds himself standing against his own son. Will the father-son duo reunite and fight against the evil Chaturvedi, or will the two continue to fight their own battles?
