Anaarkali of Aarah is a musical comedy-drama. The movie revolves around Anaarkali (Swara Bhaskar), a dance performer who dances to lewd songs in public functions. In one such function, she is molested by Dharmendra (Sanjay Mishra), a powerful academic. This leads to conflict between the two, however, the law refuses to punish him as he has a powerful position. When the law fails to punish her molester, Anaarkali decides to take revenge herself by getting even with him.
