Awaaz is an action romantic drama that follows the story of a young lawyer named Advocate Jaywant (Rajesh Khanna), who is known for never losing any case. Jaywant defends all his criminal clients and proves them to be innocent, and is very famous among his notorious criminal clients, while the innocent people, whom he has wronged, hate him. Things take a turn when a gangster named Gagan, who he has been defending rapes Jaywant’s wife Anu (Jaya Prada). Jaywant experiences a change of heart and vows to avenge his wife.
