Badlapur: Don’t miss the Beginning is an action revenge thriller that revolves around a man named Raghav ‘Raghu’ Purohit (Varun Dhawan) who loses his wife Misha (Yami Gautam) and son when two robbers, Laik (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Harman (Vinay Pathak), steal their car to flee after they robbed the bank. During the chase, Raghu’s son falls from the vehicle, and his wife gets shot. Devastated with his loss, Raghu vows to take revenge on the culprits for killing his family. Laik is sentenced to 15 years in jail while Raghu awaits his release despite the former suffering from cancer and has a few days to live.
