Yami Gautam is an Indian actress who has worked predominantly in Hindi films. Before starting her career in Bollywood, she appeared on television shows and was featured in several advertisements. She made her screen debut opposite Ayushmann Khurrana with Vicky Donor (2012) which earned her nomination in Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. It was followed by her other successful movies like Badlapur (2015), Kaabil (2017) Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), and Bala (2019). In 2021, she married Bollywood writer-director Aditya Dhar.
