Dasvi is a social-political drama that revolves around Gangaram Choudhry (Abhishek Bachchan) who is the Chief Minister of the state and is accused in a case for which he is jailed. With elections drawing close and Gangaram still in jail, he appoints his wife (Nimrat Kaur) as his successor before putting in his resignation. In jail, he is challenged for not even being a 10th-grade pass and trying to regain the position of a Chief Minister yet again. That’s when he decides to try the hard way and study for his 10th-grade exams while in jail which is not that easy. Will Gangaram pass with flying colours or will people consider him a better proposition after qualifying for his 10th-grade?
