Bas Ek Pal is a romantic drama. The movie revolves around Nikhil Kapoor (Sanjay Suri), a US-based young man, who returns to Mumbai. In Mumbai, he meets a girl named Anamika Joshi (Urmila Matondkar) in a nightclub and instantly falls in love with her. A fight breaks out between Nikhil and Anamika’s friend Farhad in the nightclub, and Farhad draws out a gun. Nikhil snatches the gun and points it towards Farhad. To stop the fight, Nikhil’s friends Rahul (Jimmy Sheirgill) and Steve (Rehaan Engineer) join in. However, Nikhil accidentally gets shot by the bullet that hit Rahul. Everyone flees from the spot and Nikhil gets falsely accused of shooting his friend.
