Jimmy Sheirgill, born as Jasjit Singh Gill, is an Indian actor and film producer, who has predominantly worked in Bollywood and Punjabi films. The actor started his career in Bollywood with the 1996 thriller drama Maachis. However, he became notable with his role in the 2000 musical romantic drama Mohabbatein, which was also the highest-grossing film of the year. Some important movies of his acting career include Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2002), Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003), Hum Tum (2004), A Wednesday!
