Family of Thakurganj is a political action drama, which is set in a small town of Bihar state that is ruled by a well-to-do zamindar family who has dominated the place and its people for generations. The story revolves around the confrontation of love and thoughts and supremacy over others among emerging gang lords in the area. The family has two warring brothers who have different ideologies while the pressure of reigning supreme comes to the fore amidst political rivalries.
