Bastar: The Naxal Story is an action political thriller inspired by real-life incidents of Naxals in Chhattisgarh state. The story is set against the Naxal movement in Chhattisgarh where the Bastar rebellion broke out in 1910 to the present-day Chhattisgarh where 75 CRPF personnels and one state police constable were killed in Dantewada. CRPF officer Neerja Madhavan (Adah Sharma) is called upon to look into the massacre and crack down on the Naxal groups under which a whole region stays in fear. The film also throws light upon the system’s failure and what makes these Naxal groups grow from strength to strength and how we can create a path to a Naxal-free Bharat!
