Bhool Chuk Maaf is a family comedy drama set in the small town of Banaras where Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao), a hopeless romantic falls in love with Titli Mishra (Wamiqa Gabbi) but cannot marry her unless he finds a govenment job for himself. Ranjan somehows finds a job as his wedding is fixed with Titli but a day before the wedding -- on the Haldi ceremony a bizarre time loop occurs, which leaves Ranjan stuck and frustrated. He suddenly remembers his vow to Lord Shiva-only to be trapped until he fulfills his promise. Does Ranjan fulfill his promise and marry Titli, forms the remaining plot of this hilarious tale of love, fate, and redemption.
