Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is an urban romantic comedy-drama set in the city of Chandigarh where Manu Munjal (Ayushmann Khurrana), a fitness trainer and freak runs his own fitness gym and falls in love with a good-looking Ambala girl named Maanvi Brar (Vaani Kapoor) who runs her own aerobics and Zumba classes. After indulging in many physical encounters Maanvi reveals that she was a man before undergoing a gender change to become a woman. All hell breaks loose for Manu as he begins to feel guilty for all that happened between them. What does Manu do, does he accept Maanvi in his life again or just be good friends rather than marry her to break all societal norms?
