Chidiakhana is a sports drama and coming-of-age story of a Bihari teenage boy named Suraj (Ritvik Sahore) who stays alone with his mother and finds acceptance in a Mumbai Chawl. Suraj and his mother get to stay in the chawl for his football skills but there is an issue with the school ground where he plays the game. The ground’s lease has elapsed but if Suraj and his team prove that they are serious about the game and can win a tournament then the authorities can allow them to play. Despite facing opposition within the team how does Suraj overcome the obstacle of getting his team together and winning against all odds forms the crux of this interesting story.
