Dhadak 2 is a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal and the story of Neelesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi) a student who belongs to the low caste and is studying law in the National University of Law through quota. His classmate is Vidhisha aka Vidhi (Triptii Dimri), who belongs to the upper caste. Neelesh and Vidhi both fall in love with each other and soon form a great bond despite knowing that it would not be easy to unite. Vidhi's sister Nimisha (Deeksha Joshi) is all set to get married when the former invites Neelesh for the wedding ceremony. Vidhi's family object to this invitation but Neelesh attends it anyway. As Neelesh reaches the wedding venue a spring of surprises await him that change his life. That is when he decides to confront the forces that come his way because fighting for the one you love can never be wrong. What happens next forms the rest of this romantic drama.
