Indian actor, editor and filmmaker, Vipin Kumar Sharma spent his early childhood in the slums of Delhi. He was interested in acting from childhood and later joined a theatre, and considered actor Sanjeev Kumar as his idol. He started his acting career with Doordarshan’s television serial Bharat Ek Khoj (1989), which was followed by his role in Krishna (1996). He gained immense popularity with his role in Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par (2007), for which he was also nominated for Screen Award for Best Actor in Supporting Role. Other important movies of his career include 1920 (2008), Karthik Calling Karthik (2010), Raanjhanaa (2013), Satyagraha (2013), Kick (2014), Baaghi 2 (2018), Simmba (2018) and many more.
