Tiku Weds Sheru is a romantic drama that revolves around the lives of two very different souls with different plans, Shiraz, popularly known as Sheru (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), hails from Bhopal and works as a junior artist in films in Mumbai in search of a better life. Sheru also works as a pimp for a local don, Shahid Bhai, but somehow fails to win the confidence of his boss to be promoted as an equal partner. On the other hand, is Taslim, aka Tiku (Avneet Kaur) who lives in Bhopal in a conservative Muslim family who runs away to Delhi under the pretext of pursuing higher studies but is eventually married off to Sheru. Sheru marries Tiku in desperation of repaying a loan, while Tiku sees Sheru as her passport to freedom. However, Sheru and Tiku fall in love with each other but their lives are caught between the chaos of the underworld facing one problem after another.
