Dybbuk: The Curse Is Real is a supernatural horror film and a remake of the 2017 Malayalam film Ezra. The story revolves around Sam Issac (Emraan Hashmi) and Mahi Sood (Nikita Dutta) who are a newlywed couple who relocate to Mauritius from Mumbai. Mahi buys an antique Jewish box that she brings into her home after which the couple faces paranormal activities. Later they come to know that it is a dybbuk box containing an evil spirit which is believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person which supposedly leaves the host body once it has accomplished its objective. To solve the mystery they seek the help of a rabbi. Will they survive this ordeal before their child is born?
