Emraan Hashmi is an Indian actor. He is related to the cinematic Bhatt family. Emraan started his career as an assistant director for the 2002 supernatural thriller movie Raaz. He made his screen debut with Vikram Bhatt’s thriller drama Footpath (2003), which earned him the praises of critics and the audience. Other important movies of his career include Murder (2004), Zeher (2005), Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005), Kalyug (2005), Aksar (2006), Gangster (2006), Awarapan (2007), Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009), The Dirty Picture (2011), Raaz 3 (2012), Ek Thi Dayan (2013), etc. In 2006, he married Parveen Shahani and the couple has a son named Ayaan Hashmi.
