Ghanchakkar is a dark comedy thriller that revolves around Sanjay ‘Sanju’ Athray (Emraan Hashmi), an expert master safecracker. Sanju meets two criminals Pandit (Rajesh Sharma) and Idris (Namit Das), who offer him to assist them in a bank robbery of INR 30 crore. The heist is successful and the thieves decide to keep the money with Sanju and meet after three months to split the money. However, after three months Pandit and Idris discover that Sanju met with an accident and has lost his memory. Chaos ensues when they realize that Sanju has no memory of money or theft and he can’t remember where he has kept INR 30 crore.
