Murder is a romantic thriller drama. The movie revolves around a young woman named Simran Sehgal (Mallika Sherawat). After the death of her sister, Simran marries her deceased sister’s husband Sudhir (Ashmit Patel), a workaholic man, to give motherly love to her nephew. She leads an unhappy and lonely married life. Things take a turn when she accidentally meets her former lover, Sunny (Emraan Hashmi), and the two engage in an affair. She starts lying to her husband and neglects her duties as a wife and mother. Sudhir grows suspicious and soon finds out about Simran’s extra-marital affair. He decides to end the relationship. The next day, Sunny goes missing and the police come to Sudhir and Simran’s house to inquire. What might have happened to Sunny? Has Sudhir anything to do with it?
