Selfiee is a comedy drama and the remake of the Malayalam film Driving Licence (2019). The story follows film actor and superstar Vijay Kumar (Akshay Kumar) whose film shooting is stalled due to not having a driving licence which is required for a driving scene. In order to acquire a fresh driving licence urgently Vijay Kumar meets one of his ardent fans, Motor Vehicle Inspector Om Prakash Agarwal (Emraan Hashmi) who agrees on delivering the driving licence illegally but on the condition that he along with his son would get a selfie with the superstar. On hearing the condition, a feud between Vijay Kumar and Om Prakash develops that takes a toll on each other's personal and professional lives.
