Chehre is a psychological thriller about a Delhi-based ad agency chief Sameer Mehra (Emraan Hashmi) who leads a lavish lifestyle with a dark past. While on his way away from Delhi he is compelled to spend the night at a heritage mansion in an isolated hill station due to extreme cold weather conditions. Sameer runs into four gentlemen cum erstwhile court officials who comprise of a public prosecutor, defence lawyer, judge, and an executioner, who have regrouped to reenact mock trials on stranded strangers who seek refuge in their spooky house which happens to be their favourite pastime. With Sameer joining them in the game it becomes fun until things get serious as he is made to revisit his past.
