Samir Soni is an Indian actor, director and former model, who has worked in Hindi films and television. He made his acting debut with the Doordarshan television serial Samandar (1995-96), and went on to act in a number of television serials. He started his career in Bollywood with a small role in the 1998 film China Gate. He has also acted in movies like Lajja (2001), Baghban (2003), Vivah (2006), Fashion (2008), I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018), Student of the Year 2 (2019), and many more. In 2011, he married former Indian actress Neelam Kothari, and the couple has a daughter.
