Nikamma is a romantic action drama and the remake of the 2017 Telugu hit Middle Class Abbayi. The story revolves around Siddharth (Abhimanyu Dassani) a good-for-nothing young middle-class youth who stays with his brother (Samir Soni) and sister-in-law Avni (Shilpa Shetty). Siddharth dreams of making it big without doing anything despite not hitting it off well with his family members. One day while finding his sister-in-law Avni, an RTO officer, in trouble after encountering a local politician, Siddharth shows his true ability and saves the former. Siddharth also finds true love in the form of Siya (Shirley Setia) but will her father approve of him for the way he is or will Siddharth finally change himself?
