Karthik Calling Karthik is a psychological thriller romantic drama. The movie revolves around an introverted man named Karthik (Farhan Akhtar), who works as a chartered accountant for a reputed construction company and has to face a number of problems because of his lack of confidence. Karthik also quietly falls in love with his office colleague Shonali (Deepika Padukone) but can’t express it. His life changes when he gets a call from an unknown caller who claims to have the ability to change his life forever. Soon, the calls become the life guide for Karthik, the caller advises Karthik to deal with every problem and become successful and also get Shonali into his life. However, are these calls really helping Karthik or creating more problems for him?
