Rang Rasiya – Colors of Passion is an erotic drama film. The movie is based on the life of the 19th-century Indian painter Raja Ravi Verma. Raja Ravi Verma (played by Randeep Hooda) was a young talented painter who initially trained under the king of Kerala. He meets Kamini (Rashanaa Shah), one of the servants in the palace who inspires him to paint the masterpiece that helped him gain the title of Raja from the King. After the death of the king, he moves to Bombay to pursue his career and meets Sugandha (Nandana Sen) in a temple, who initially discredits his works but later becomes his muse.
