Dil Dhadakne Do is a family comedy-drama. The movie revolves around the dysfunctional family of Kamal Mehra (Anil Kapoor), a billionaire businessman based in Delhi. Kamal Mehra and his wife, Neelam Mehra (Shefali Shah), invite friends and family for a ten-day cruise to celebrate their 30^th marriage anniversary. Kamal is in a troubled relationship with his wife, daughter Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra), and son Kabir (Ranveer Singh). Ayesha, an independent ambitious woman, wants to end the marriage with her controlling narcissistic husband and Kabir doesn’t want to join the family business but wants to be a pilot. The journey brings the falling family together and helps them to make some life-changing decisions.
