Dream Girl 2 is a romantic comedy-drama and the sequel to Dream Girl that yet again narrates the story of Karam (Ayushmann Khurrana) a small-town boy from Mathura who is struggling to repay his father's debt which he took from many over a period of time. Karam is in love with Pari (Ananya Panday), whose father sets some conditions for him to marry her. In order to make both ends meet, much against his wish Karam yet again decides to get into the avatar of Pooja. Becoming Pooja leads Karam to a series of wild chaos and comedy of errors.
