Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a family comedy-drama which revolves around a father-daughter relationship where Balbir Chaudhary (Anil Kapoor) is looking for a matrimonial alliance for his young daughter Sweety Chaudhary (Sonam Kapoor) who is also liked by Sahir Mirza (Rajkummar Rao), a playwriter but is unable to profess his feelings. The whole family wants her to get married without knowing what Sweety wants.
