Hattrick is a sports comedy-drama. The movie revolves around several people with different stories. Dr. Satyajit Chavan (Nana Patekar) is a respected physician who dislikes cricket but has to treat a celebrated ex-cricketer David Abraham (Danny Denzongpa). A young Punjabi couple, Sarbajeet Singh and Kashmira Singh face a rift because of cricket. A janitor named Hemendra Patel (Paresh Rawal) works at a London airport and wishes to get British citizenship but his fate is in the hands of an Immigration officer who hates all Patel’s. The movie shows how the cricket World Cup has an influence on these people and changes their lives.
