Heer Express is a breezy romantic comedy that revolves around Heer (Divita Juneja) who lives in Punjab with her maternal uncles (Gulshan Grover and Sanjay Mishra) and helps run the family restaurant, a venture founded by her late mother, Preeto (Priya Bhardwaj). A gifted cook, Heer receives an exciting opportunity to expand her mother’s legacy by opening a branch of the restaurant in London. Upon arriving there, she meets Rohan Ahuja (Prit Kamani) and the two fall in love. Heer also encounters TJ (Ashutosh Rana), the husband of Olivia (Sarah Lockett) — the businesswoman who brought Heer to London. She discovers that TJ is struggling with his children, Sasha (Charlotte Longstaffe) and Mickey (Benji Charles), and gradually learns of a troubling past that haunts him.
