Raj (Irrfan Khan) and Mita (Saba Qamar) is a well-off couple residing in Delhi who yearn to get their daughter Pia, educated from a reputed English medium school. When they learn that their background is what is holding their daughter back to get admitted to a reputed school, they are willing to go to any lengths to change her fate. To prove that they belong to the poverty-stricken class of people, the whole family stays in a rented house among the poor till they get verified by the school authorities. Does Pia get admission or all their efforts will go in vain?
