Hindustani 2 is the sequel to the 1996 film Hindustani where Senapathy (Kamal Haasan), an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante who escapes from India after fighting against corruption and killing his son. Senapathy returns to India to aid a young man named Chitra Aravindhan (Siddharth) who has been exposing corrupt politicians in the country through videos on the internet. But this time Senapathy faces a different challenge with technology at his behest but the system gone bad to worse.
