Hip Hip Hurray is a sports drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Sandeep (Raj Kiran), who is an engineer, but situations force him to take up the job of a sports teacher in a school. In the school, he is able to create a good team with students like Raghu and other boys. However, Raghu has a crush on a school teacher (Deepti Naval), who instead likes Sandeep. This makes Raghu jealous of Sandeep and he starts to consider him as his rival. How Raghu’s jealousy and emotions affects his performance in the sports forms the rest of the plot.
