Indu Sarkar is a political thriller drama. The movie is set during the emergency period between 1975 to 1977. It revolves around Indu Sarkar (Kirti Kulhari) and her husband, Navin Sarkar (Tota Roy Chowdhury). During the time of emergency, Navin Sarkar, a government employee, plans to use the situation to his advantage to get ahead in his career. However, Indu, a simple housewife, sets on a different path, her sense of morality makes her venture to the area where people are protesting against the government.
