Itihaas is an action family drama. The movie revolves around an honest police officer named Joginder Singh (Raaj Kumar), who lives with his wife Sunaina (Shabana Azmi), two sons, Vijay (Anil Kapoor) and Rakesh (Mohnish Behl), and a daughter, Jyoti. Joginder and his son, Rakesh, are the key people who arrest a dreaded criminal, Alexander (Danny Denzongpa) and his right hand, Kalicharan (Suresh Oberoi). Later, Alexander makes it his mission to destroy Joginder’s family. Will Joginder be able to save his family from the dreaded criminal?
